For 6 - 8-year-olds and 9 - 12-year-olds
What happens when art doesn't try to look like something we recognize? In this week of discovery, campers will explore abstraction and learn how artists use shapes, lines, movement, and scale to express thoughts and feelings.
Students will practice observing closely, asking questions, and forming their own interpretations. They'll discover that abstract art invites curiosity and creativity, where there is no single "right" answer. Through open-ended exploration, campers will gain confidence in their own ways of seeing and understanding the world.
At the end of the week, we'll celebrate together at a special exhibition in the Education Center that showcases the campers' artwork.
This is an experience your child won't want to miss. Sign up now; space is limited.
This is a drop-off program. Each week-long camp is limited to 30 children, and registration is required.
Fees: Members $650, general $750. Please see our frequently asked questions for information regarding class refunds and other policies. Questions? Email [email protected].
