Morey's Piers is located in the Heart of Wildwood, NJ. Morey's Piers consists of three piers along Wildwood's 2 and a half mile boardwalk. Morey's Piers also includes various restaurants, miniature golf courses, shops and attractions. Starting from South to North is "Adventure Pier." This pier is located on Schlennger Ave. and is the home to the Great White. A wooden roller coaster rightfully named for it's drops and underground tunnel. Go-Carts can also be found at the end of Adventure Pier. This pier is more of a thrill ride section including a "Slingshot." Feel what its like to be a human cannon ball.
The next pier is named Mariners Pier. This pier is a very child friendly pier. Located at the end of this pier is Raging Waters water park. Try their body, tube, and rubber mat slides. Raging Waters has something even for the kids as they take on each other in a Boys vs Girls water fight. Try to fill up the other teams bucket and pour it all over them before they do it to you. Plenty of Kiddie rides on this pier. Ride the merry-go-round or try out the bumper cars. Kids can ride mini-log flume, elephants, airplanes and more. For the bigger kid in all of us, there is a vekoma style Coaster located in the middle of the pier named "The Sea Serpent" along with high rated thrill rides.
The final pier is located on 25th Ave. rightfully named Surf Ave. Personally my favorite pier, contains the water park "Ocean Oasis." Grab a tube and go on all the slides you can or take a dive on the Cliff Dive as you drop five stories in 3 seconds. Tired of all the fun? Relax on the Lazy river as it takes you around the vicinity of Ocean Oasis. There is a Newly upgraded roller coaster on this pier named "The Great Nor Eastern". This is a suspended looping coaster with speeds up to 50 MPH. Surfside pier also includes an underground go-cart track, mini-coaster, a 140 foot free fall ride, kiddie rides and more.
Although these three piers are great for adults and kids of all ages, there is plenty more to do. With a beach in walking distance there are games and shops all throughout the 2 and a half mile boardwalk.
My family and I have taken trips down to Wildwood for the past 16 years. I look forward to our yearly trip to Morey's Piers. Morey's piers is great for families with children of all ages. If there are any questions don't hesitate to ask.
