Learn to Read with Reading Eggs

If you have a child who is learning to read, check out the Reading Eggs online program!  It was developed by a team of teachers, educational writers, animators, and web developers to both hold your child's attention and engage them in learning to read.  Reading Eggs focuses on skills and strategies necessary for learning to read and is good for children ages 3 through 12.  

The biggest hitch for my daughter was that, at four years old, she is not very adept at using a computer.  She initially didn't have a good grasp on using the mouse or clicking which was required to get through the program.  Doing the Reading Eggs program improved her reading skills, got her excited about learning to read, and helped her understand how to use the computer a little bit.  She's been very excited about her new reading skills and enjoyed using the Reading Eggs program.  Anything that can get children engaged in learning and reading is a plus in our household!
